Rockford's Sinnissippi Park is looking a whole lot brighter tonight as hundred unite around the city's Christmas tree.

This is the annual tree lighting ceremony at the Nicholas Conservatory and Gardens. Hundreds of families bundled up and gathered around the Christmas staple. The event included a series of holiday themed activities.
