Nearly 7,000 turned out to the 64th Annual Greenwich Village Art Fair this weekend.
More than 100 artists from all over the country set up booths selling everything from paintings to hand-made jewelry. All proceeds of the event go toward the Rockford Art Museum's educational programs.
"It's that 64-year-old tradition," said Scott Prine, Greenwich Village Art Fair chairman. "It's where people come, they see their friends, they see their neighbors, they're bringing their dogs, they spend the whole afternoon. Because it's the energy of the event."
Organizers say the great weather made for increased weekend attendance.
