If you're thinking to yourself that it's been cold here for awhile, you'd be exactly right! Friday's high of 47° is a level eight degrees below the normal high of 55° for November 2nd, and is now the 8th consecutive day registering below normal temperatures. It's a trend that shows no sign of letting up in the immediate future, but there are signs of hope longer range.
While clouds and chilly NE winds keep temperatures in the 40s through Monday, or potentially even Tuesday, temperatures should finally reach CLOSE to normal on Wednesday, though likely fall just a hair short.
The real warming begins Thursday, as temperatures surge into above normal territory for the first time in two weeks, with even further warming ahead! Friday's predicted high of 66° would be a whopping 14° above normal, and some models point to even warmer temperatures for the first half of next weekend!
The Climate Prediction Center's 6-10 Day Outlook suggests that warmer than normal conditions, if not much warmer than normal, will likely continue into early portions of the following week!
