Registration Held for Biddy & Jr. Mite Spring Basketball

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- The Flodin Boys and Girls Club is currently holding registration for Pre-K thru Grade 2 (Biddy – Pre K & K / Jr. Mite Grades 1 & 2) boys and girls basketball.

This league will emphasize fundamentals, skill development, sportsmanship, fun, and a better overall understanding of the sport of basketball. All participants must meet their grade requirement by March 1, 2013.

Practices begin February 11 with one practice per week for 3 weeks. Games begin March 2. Mail or drop off applications at the Club, 1000 Mill Road between noon and 6 PM Monday thru Friday.

The $65 fee covers player’s fee, team T-Shirt and award. All players must provide a copy of birth certificate and complete a sports application. Fee must be paid in full prior to the first scheduled practice. Volunteer coaches are needed.
