CHICAGO (AP) -- Funeral services will be held for a 6-month-old baby who was killed when a gunman fired at minivan in Chicago as she sat on her father's lap.

The Tuesday services for Jonylah (juh-NEYE'-luh) Watkins will be at a church in the Woodlawn neighborhood where the shooting occurred. A local funeral home is paying for the services. The father, 28-year-old Jonathon Watkins, was seriously wounded in the March 11 shooting.

Watkins and his wife, Judy, on Monday entered Leak & Sons funeral homes through a back door to view the body of their daughter. They left after 10 minutes.

A line formed outside the funeral home as members of the public arrived to offer condolences to the family.

Chicago Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy said Monday investigators will solve the baby's murder.
