House Fire

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- The Red Cross is helping a family of three after their house went up in flames.

The fire broke out around 2:00 p.m. Wednesday inside this house on the 1500 block of 17th Avenue in Rockford. We're told the fire started in the front bed room. Firefighters quickly put it out. Damage estimates are around $5,000. No on was hurt, the cause of the fire is under investigation.
