Send Rockford Mom Accused of Killing Baby Back in Court

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Tina LaMonica, the Rockford mom accused of killing her seven-day old baby, was back in court on Friday.

The judge heard arguments on the defendant's motion to dismiss. They will make a decision on January 7th. LaMonica is accused of using cocaine while pregnant, which killed her infant last January. The baby was just a week old. LaMonica faces first degree murder charges. She'll be back in court on December 14th for a bond reduction hearing.
