ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Thanksgiving Dinner was served early today at the Rockford Rescue Mission.

Hundreds of people were able to sit down to a holiday meal with turkey and all of the trimmings.

The annual Thanksgiving Day dinner at the mission relies on donations from the community to make the meal possible.
