UPDATE: Glenwood Avenue Police Standoff Resolved

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Ten Rockford Police officers faced off with a man inside his home on Glenwood Avenue near Rockford Memorial Hospital.

Police say it was a domestic dispute and the man threatened to kill himself. Police blocked off the road for more than an hour trying to get the scene under control. Nobody was arrested but the individual was sent to the hospital for a psychological evaluation.

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Rockford Police have the area of Glenwood Avenue and Ridge blocked off right now due to a standoff with a man that police say has a gun.
