Send Man Steals Cash From Dollar General

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Rockford Police are looking for a man who robbed the Dollar General on the 1000 block of Charles Street early Tuesday evening. Police say a man walked into the business armed with a knife and demanded money from the DG employee. The clerk dropped the cash and ran, that’s when the suspect jumped the counter, scooped up the cash and fled from the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male between the ages of 40-50 years old. The man was wearing prescription glasses, a blue baseball cap with a grey brim, a blue jean jacket, grey hoodie, blue cargo pants, and white tennis shoes.
