ROCKFORD (WIFR) – Rockford Police have arrested a man they believe attempted to set fire to the Kingdom Hall Church on Chadwick Drive. Rockford Fire Department where called to the church building on the 2900 block of Chadwick Drive around 9 a.m. Saturday to investigate an extinguished fire.

Upon finalizing details of the investigation, evidence revealed it was arson. Rockford Police have taken Michael Campbell, 41, into custody and he is charged with three counts of aggravated arson.
