Winnebago County Landfill Complaints

WINNEBAGO COUNTY (WIFR) -- People who live near the Winnebago County Landfill, including some scientists, say they're worried about their health. They say odors coming from the landfill are getting stronger and lasting for longer periods of time.

Neighbors want the county to re-measure chemicals coming from the landfill and take a health survey of residents to determine the danger of these gases. Nearly 100 people packed the New Milford Fire Station Tuesday night to discuss problems with the landfill.
