DOWNTOWN ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- As the festivities taper off in Downtown Rockford the season, a new restaurant has opened just in time to keep the momentum going.

Vintage@501 opened Wednesday at the corner of East State and 2nd Street, that's the old Red Lion Pub. Owners describe the new joint as having a vintage Americana theme with casual pub food.
