Send Free Flu Shots Thursday

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Need a flu shot... but don't want to pay? You're in luck. Several area health care providers have teamed up to offer free flu shots.

On Thursday, October 25, 2012, from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.
there will be four clinic locations offering free flu shots. The clinic locations are: Rock River Valley Pantry, 421 S. Rockton
Avenue-; Shelter Care Ministries, 412 N. Church Street-; Morning Star Baptist Church, 714 3rd Avenue-; and St. Paul Church of God in Christ, 1001 Bishop Washington Avenue.

Any adult 18 and over is welcome to receive a free flu shot if they have no health insurance, are unemployed or otherwise cannot afford a flu shot. No proof of identification needed. Supplies are limited.
