Rock County Sheriff's Office Searchs for Man in Severe Weather

Posted: 9:54 AM Jan 22, 2013

ROCK COUNTY (WIFR) -- Rock County Sheriff's Deputies spent much of Monday night looking for a man spotted walking in a field in -14 degree temperatures.

A concerned citizen called police just before 8:30 last night when they saw a man in a tan jacket stumbling near the intersection of North Little Road and County Highway A in Janesville. For nearly 8 hours, Sheriff's Deputies used their K-9 unit and ATV's to comb nearby fields for any sign of him. Anyone with information on the man's well-being is asked to call the Rock County 911 Center non-emergency number of (608) 757-2244.
