Rockford Man Sentenced to 12 Years for Murder

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- A Rockford man who beat an acquaintance to death in April last year was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
Earl Bryant Jr. was found guilty of murdering Sanford Marzette, 39, after the two men got in an argument. The victim was found dead in a driveway on Henrietta Avenue. Bryant gets a year and a half credit for time he's already served.
