New Hours for Winter Wonderland in Davis Park

Winter Wonderland Returns to Davis Park

DOWNTOWN ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- The holiday season is coming to an end, but there's still a lot of fun going on in Downtown Rockford.

The BMO Harris Bank Winter Wonderland has new holiday hours. From Dec. 26 to Jan. 4 the ice rink will be open weekdays from 4:00-8:00 p.m.four-to-eight, weekend hours are the same.

Just a reminder they are closed on New Years Day.

Admission is still free, and skate rentals are $3.

DOWNTOWN ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Thankfully, there's no snow on the ground just yet but Davis Park is starting to look like a Winter Wonderland.

This week crews started assembling the 12,000 square foot synthetic ice rink. This is the third year for the festive and for the first time admission is free. However... skate rental is $3.00. Opening day is November 23.
