Rock Valley College Declares Impasse with Fraternal Order of Police

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Contract negotiations between Rock Valley College and the school's police force have fallen apart. The college has declared an impasse after the union did not respond to their last offer. Both groups have been working on a new contract since February 2011. RVC's Board of Trustees says their last offer is the final one and police officers have until November 27 to approve the deal.
