Rockford Avenue Closed Due to Water Main Break

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Rockford Avenue between Charles and East State Streets will be closed for the next three days, so crews can repair a water main break.
The break is likely weather related. The city says it's typical to see these types of problems this time of year. In fact, they often deal with one or two water main breaks a day. But it's usually not this bad. The Rockford Water Division hopes to have this one fixed by Friday.
