Saudargas Files to Run as Write-In Candidate for Dist. 205 School Board

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Former Rockford School Board member Alice Saudargas is not backing down.
On Thursday she filed to be a write-in candidate for the upcoming school board election. You may recall last month election officials removed Saudargas' name from the ballot, after they ruled she didn't have enough petitions.
The 96-year-old says she has more than the required 50 signatures and has asked the election board to reconsider. The school board election is on April 9th.
