Rockford Man Killed in Kidnapping

MONTANA (WIFR) -- A Rockford man is dead in a bizarre story out of Montana that includes robbery kidnapping and now murder.
Two people are now in custody for the shooting death of 29-year-old Dejuan Laster of Rockford.
According to police reports, two men broke into the Billings Montana motel room that Laster and his girlfriend were staying. They forced them into two separate cars and drove off. The girlfriend told investigators that she was eventually released and then received a call from one of the alleged kidnappers regarding Laster. Police traced that call to find the suspects. Laster was found shot to death Tuesday in nearby Shepherd, Montana.
