Winnebago Buy Local is having its 2013 Kickoff Celebration on Tuesday, February 19,

2013. Beginning at 6 p.m. in Giovanni’s Grand Ballroom (610 North Bell School Road, Rockford, IL), this free

event will feature Jill Salzman speaking on “How to Be an Expert In Your Field.” Jill Salzman has appeared in

“The New York Times,” “Forbes” Magazine, and “Crain’s Chicago Business” while also speaking previously at

TEDxNaperville and on several TV shows as a three-times successful entrepreneurial voice.

This event is for LOCAL, grassroots, unique to Winnebago County businesses.
