| Illinois Mentor is a foster care agency, licensed through DCFS, that primarily works with children with exceptional medical and/or emotional needs in the nine county area of northern Illinois. Illinois Mentor also works with adults with adults with developmental disabilities using a host home model. Due to our tremendous growth in the Rockford area, we currently have a number of positions open for caseworkers and direct service employees. Caseworker positions are full time, and both full and part-time positions are open for direct service employees. Job requirements include the following: Caseworkers: a minimum of a bachelor’s Degree in social services, education, or psychology, DCFS licensed preferred, able to pass a background check, good driving record, reliable vehicle able to work various hours as required good work ethic able to work well with children and teenagers able to maintain own schedule Direct Service Employee: minimum of 21 years of age high school diploma able to pass background check good driving record, reliable vehicle able to work various hours as required good work ethic able to work well with children and teenagers able to maintain own schedule If interested, please send resume to raj.kendrick@thementornetwork.com | |||
