The deadline for applications is Acting Chief Jacobs announced today that the City of Beloit will begin accepting applications for the position of police officer. Job responsibilities include performing patrol duties and enforcing State laws and City ordinances for the City of Beloit. Qualifications include: U.S. citizen, age 18, valid drivers license, good physical health, eligible to be certified by the State of Wisconsin, have 60 college credits by time of hire, and no felony convictions. Proven fluency in Spanish is also a plus.January 8, 2010 with a written exam scheduled for January 23, 2010. Acting Chief Jacobs states, “The Beloit Police Department is a proactive community policing agency with state of the art technology. We are seeking professional, problem-solving individuals who enjoy a challenging work environment.” | |||
