CHICAGO (AP) -- Chicago police have arrested seven people who were carrying rocks and bottles to the NATO Summit protest march.
Spokeswoman Melissa Stratton says the seven were arrested at Grant Park shortly before the 2 p.m. protest march to McCormick Place was to begin.
Police have been on the lookout for people carrying such items, which at previous similar events they threw through windows and at officers.
The arrests follow the arrests of three other men who are accused of trying to make Molotov cocktails that police say they intended to throw during the summit protest.
