It would be interesting if you did an analysis of not only Alpine Bank,(10/10) but other local banks such as Stillman Valley Bank, Byron Bank and Holcomb State Banks. I am sure many would be interested in how their banks are faring during this crisis.

I found it exceedingly distasteful to follow the funeral announcement of a Rockford son with the deployment of the next group to Afghanistan. Whether it seemed a natural segue or not, I think the inferences it can cause are tasteless at best, and gruesome at worst. I sincerely hope you will think of the families with more consideration in the future.

We now have a big screen HDtv This makes the 23 news icon on the screen look like a zit on the face of a super model. Why does the icon have to be so big, irriating and anoying?

I am writing in regards to my granddaughter FAITH FUTRELL. She was featured on your show a few years back. FAITH was born with her intestines outside of her body. She was 2 months premature and only weighed less than 3 lbs. Laura Gibbs interviewed my family at their home. We received very bad news today. FAITH has cerebral palsy. I know and everyone else knows that this was brought on by Rockford Memorial Hospital. She was taken today to Madison where she was diagnosised almost immediately. NO ONE at RMH even tested her for the symptoms she has. We are devastated with the news and the knowledge that this was covered up. If you need more information or would like to revisit our little miracle, I can be contacted at (815)494-9930. I know that your audience would love to see how Faith is today (2 years later). Thank you for your time and I am hopeful you will contact me. Best regards, Pat

I was just reading through your comment board and noticed the posting from "Posted by: KARI Location: RIOUX on May 21, 2008 at 08:14 AM"... I see that she is new to Rockford, and I would like to help if I could. I am member of a local environmental sciences 'go- green' program- please forward my email to her if you would.. thank you.
