Freeport Hot Dog Stand Becomes Full Deli
It's a happy story in this sometimes sad economy a Freeport entrepreneur is celebrating a business expansion.

It's a ribbon cutting ceremony that could be described as both sweet and sauerkraut. Mary Peters moves her corner hot dog stand inside as New York deli becomes part of SB Chocolates. Peters has owned the chocolate shop for 6 years and the hot dog stand for three years and business is booming enough for her to make the move inside.
"Why not come into the 21st century and put them both together it's just common sense. If it's working don't let it fail you, keep going with it. And don't be afraid to jump into something just because the economy's bad. Somebody's got to take a risk and go," Peters said.
