" After the shock wore off I just started balling ..I couldn't believe that could happen to someone so nice"

Her name remains on the schedule at Tad's Bar and Grill but, Julie Johnson will never see her friend at work again.

" Today ,she was suppose to work, she normally worked on Fridays and Sundays" said Johnson ".We are all in a low spirits to have a coworker taken like this, it's just awful" she said

27 year-old Amanda Reed was found dead in her Loves Park apartment early Saturday morning.Investigators are calling her death "suspicious" and won't publicly release autopsy reports until a Toxicology test is complete. Johnson says rumors are already circulating between Reed's friends and co-workers

" Everyone is speculating different things that are going around" said Johnson

Reed graduated from Boylan high school and has since worked at several bars around the stateline. Johnson says she won't only be missed by her friends.. but by her customers

" She was so nice to everyone" she said

Johnson says a group of employees stayed after work Saturday night to talk about what happened. They say the hardest part is not being able to answer that question.

"We just can't believe someone we worked with isn't here any longer"
