About 10,000 veterans and retirees in our area still have time to quality for an economic stimulus check.

The IRS says people have until October 15th to file a tax return and get their rebate check. The sooner they file the faster their payment will come, which could be up to $600.

My son filed taxes on his Soc Sec benefits. The website says it should be mailed a month ago. It has not arrived. Who do we contact to find out what happened to it?
