Cash is on the way to help us out with some of those bills. The IRS has released details on exactly when we'll be getting our economic stimulus checks.

The rebates will be sent out based upon the last two digits of our Social Security numbers. And whether funds will be direct deposited in our bank accounts or sent in the mail. Direct deposit checks will be released first.

39-51 June 13

What they don't tell you. If you paid for your tax prep. out of your refund check,(it was debited from your balance), or you got rapid refund, you will get a paper check! I thought I would get mine Mar 9th, it never showed up. I had it direct deposited. When I got on IRS.com I found this in the "fine" print. I had my fee taken out of check, so therefore I have to wait. I don't mind, however, it would be nice if the government could tell us the whole truth!

this will not help the economy.if they gave it all at once it might, but taking 3 months to send it out wont help.

I filed my tax return before April 15th,I did E-file, direct deposit, and the last two digits of my social have already passed. What I would like to know is how come the IRS is giving us false information on when we should get our checks?

I think this thing is way out of hand! One day it's one way then another the next. Waiting until July to get your paper check is ridiculous when they keep saying they are mass printing them daily? I am not sure at this point anyone really knows. What is going on with all the people who are saying they didn't get the money for their qualifying children??? What about the ones that are being "overpaid"? Then what those of us that are left get what's "left over?" For such a great idea I am not sure they thought it all the way through before doing this.

Thank you for the information on the stimulus check schedule. However, I am curious. If you had to pay into the IRS (bummer)- will you be considered on the paper schedule for the check?

Don't spend it, put it in a CD or money market to get some interest on it. Pretty sad we have to borrow money from China and Americans are happy to just get money. Very very sad.

I just looked at the IRS web site and it says: If you had your 2007 tax refund direct deposited then this will be too. If you got a paper check for your refund then you get a paper check for this.

I was wondering if the direct deposit is if you had done your taxes with direct deposit listed as preferred method? I sure hope so
