Little Girl Dead After Accident

It happened just after 2 pm in the west bound lane near Elevator Road in Winnebago County. 11-year-old Stephanie Verdina and 29-year-old Rachel Vaiden of Machesney Park were ejected from the vehicle. Vaiden suffered life-threatening injuries. State police say the driver, 36 year old Jennifer Benson was changing lanes, ran off the road and rolled the vehicle. jessica, what is the real story?the driver of this vehicle is a dear friend of mine of many years and i personally know she's a safe driver as valued those kids safety as much as her own child...and melissa thank-you for the input about other accidents occuring in same construction area, this just supports my feelings about the driver(j.benson)being a safe and responsible driver with other children in her care..state police should evaluate the "orange barrels" being placed in clearance of such heavy traffic area's..i can only wish a speedy recovery physically and emotionally for this misfortunate situation.

In the last three days there have been three roll overs on I-90. All of them have been close to each other. Were are the State Police? It is clear that people drive to fast on I-90.
