Woman Votes in 20 Presidential Elections

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- For many of us, this was not our first time in the polling booth, but one Rockford woman puts all of our voting records to shame.

"I'm a hundred and eight years old,” she said.

Beatrice Taylor cast her vote for President Obama at West Side Church this afternoon, the 20th time she's voted in an election in 108 years. Taylor's caretaker escorted her to the polling location. She says Taylor believes in what she stands for and wouldn't miss the chance to vote in this election.

Taylor’s first election was back in 1922. Calvin Coolidge was elected president.
