ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Police have Cherita Hanson in custody after she allegedly stabbed her ex-boyfriend multiple times in the head. It happened around 1:30 Wednesday morning on the 1000 block of 24th Street.
Police say when they arrived they found the 35 year old victim bleeding from the head. He was transported to the local hospital and is being treated for his injuries.
Hanson faces one count of aggravated battery.
