ROCKFORD (WIFR) – 45-year-old Gloria Ford of McHenry Illinois was sentenced to 60 months in federal prison for mail fraud.
Victims of a “secret shopper” scheme applied to online work-at-home advertisements believing they were being hired to work as a “secret shopper” or payment processor.
Ford pled guilty to the charge on July 6, 2012 and was ordered to serve 3 years of supervised release following imprisonment, and to pay $68,922 in restitution to the victims.
