WINNEBAGO (WIFR) -- They've been working without a contract all year long and Monday night Winnebago School Teachers united in a call for action.
Teachers picked up signs and formed a line outside the Winnebago School Board meeting. The goal was to raise awareness in the community that faculty has worked this whole year without a contract. A federal mediator has been called in to help resolve the impasse. After two meetings with the mediator there is still no deal in place.
The next meeting with the federal mediator is scheduled for May 7.
