WINNEBAGO (WIFR) -- Negotiations have greatly improved in the Winnebago School District. The Teacher’s Union and School District have come to a tentative contract agreement.

It’s a much different environment from a few weeks ago when teachers were holding informational pickets outside of board meetings. Negotiations with the Winnebago Education Association have been going on for more than a year, with salary and benefits holding up the process. The WEA will vote on the two-year contract tomorrow morning. The board votes on May 20th.
