BOONE COUNTY (WIFR) – A Waukegan man has pled guilty a single charge of armed robbery. The crime happened back in April 2011 when 20 year old Daniel Martinez-Guerrero and an accomplice walked into the Guadalupana Store on the 500 block of State Street in Belvidere and held the store clerk at gunpoint. Once the two men duct-taped the employee they grabbed cash, jewelry, and other items then fled.
Martinez-Guerrero will spend 12 years in prison to carry out his sentenced.
