BELOIT (WIFR) -- In an effort to boost Stateline tourism the Visit Beloit campaign is taking it's message on the road.
The Beloit tourism office showed off its new mobile welcome center on Wednesday. It's the first in the Stateline and it will make stops at area festivals.
Monica Krysztopa,Visit Beloit Executive Director, say five college interns called the "Go-To-Crew" will be running the mobile unit, answering questions about what Southern Wisconsin has to offer when it comes to fun.
"By taking our assets on the road to individuals were able to talk about our farmers, our summer concert series, our international film festival, our art painting event in the summer. So by attending other festivals and events we can promote what's going on in our community," Krysztopa said.
The mobile welcome center will be making stops in Rockford Thursday performing random acts of hospitality for travelers.
