ILLINOIS (WIFR) -- The numbers are in, the State of Illinois made about $2.5 million dollars off of Illinois gamblers last month.
About $200,000 of that came from local gaming hotspots. We looked at two dozen area video-gaming venues and in total, Stateliners spent more than 6 and a half million dollars at local machines.
Once you take away their winnings and state taxes, that works out to about $40,000 for city governments.
