ROCK COUNTY (WIFR) – Rock County Deputies found an unoccupied car in the ditch on the north side of MH Townline Road around 12:30 pm Sunday afternoon.
The driver, 49 year old Lonnie Bechtolt of Janesville, was spotted sitting next to her car uninjured but slurring speech.
After investigations police indicated that Bechtolt was driving north on Harmony Townhall Rd when she failed to stop at the stop sign for MH Townline Rd and drove into the ditch.
The Deputy found that Bechtolt was confused and her speech was slurred. Bechtolt refused field sobriety tests, however, based on the Deputy’s observations, Bechtolt was arrested for 5th Offense OWI.
