CALEDONIA (WIFR) – North Boone Fire Department responded to a house fire on the 2800 block of 173 early Tuesday morning.
When fire fighters arrived they could see heavy smoke coming from the back of the building. The house was up for sale and vacant.
Capron Fire Department was unable to respond due to the fire house doors frozen shut. North Boone arrived within minutes of the initial call.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
