ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- A local non-profit celebrates a milestone in the community with the help of its supporters.
The United Way celebrates a successful 2012 fundraising campaign with donors and volunteers at a banquet Tuesday. The event recognized local organization that helped the United Way surpass its fundraising goal of $4.7 million. Awards were given out to the top donors and the workplaces that had the most participation. CEO Paul Logli says the campaign goal was an aggressive one, but says they couldn't have done it without the community's support.
