“Uncle Doug” McDuff Returns to Local Radio

JANESVILLE (WIFR) — Long-time local talk host Doug McDuff will be back on the air beginning Monday, May 12th on The Big AM 1380. McDuff, affectionately known as “Uncle Doug,” has over fifty years of radio experience, working in Appleton and Milwaukee. For the last twenty years, McDuff has been the voice of Rockford, providing the citizens of the Rock River Valley with knowledgeable and thought-provoking discussions on the issues that matter most.

“I am looking forward to a long association with The Big AM 1380,” McDuff said. “I’ve had a lot of radio experience, and I’ve heard nothing but good things about the team at The Big AM 1380. I look forward to having a lot of fun in this new endeavor.”

“Doug has been one of the most well-known and well-respected local radio personalities in this area for decades,” says Andrew Liebetrau, programming director of The Big AM 1380. “I think listeners will be thrilled to hear Doug again, and we are very excited they will be hearing him on The Big AM 1380.”

‘McDuff & Company’ will be heard weekdays from 1p-3p beginning on May 12th. ‘Stan Milam,’ the voice of Rock County, will now be heard from 9a-11a, with ‘Jock Talk,’ the only local sports talk show in the region, from 11a-1p. The all-local talk lineup on The Big AM 1380 rounds out with ‘The Morning Mess with Scott Thompson’ from 5a-9a, and ‘The Afternoon Drive with Sly’ from 3p-6p.
