FREEPORT (WIFR) -- The Sensata Plant in Freeport will be closed once again this weekend due to all of the national attention its getting.
United Auto Workers President Bob King will be hosting a rally Saturday morning at 10:00 p.m. at the tent city called 'Bainport' set up outside the plant. This is the second weekend in a row the plant has closed due to publicity over it outsourcing jobs to China. Rev. Al Sharpton was there last Saturday and on Wednesday Rev. Jesse Jackson and other Sensata workers were arrested for refusing to leave plant property. Sensata is scheduled to close its Freeport location in December
