UPDATE: Final Winnebago County Burglary Suspect Sentenced to 14 Years

WINNEBAGO COUNTY (WIFR) -- A man caught burglarizing Rockford homes, now has a new home for about the next decade and a half... Prison.

Anthony Ollie, 29, was sentenced to 14 years on Friday. Ollie and Robert Burns took TV sets, jewelry and other valuables from more than 20 homes in January 2013. Burns was also sentenced to 14 years in May.

WINNEBAGO COUNTY (WIFR) -- One of the two men arrested for committing more 20 residential burglaries around Winnebago County pleads guilty.

Robert Burns, 35, was sentenced to 14 years in prison. On January 24, 2014 Burns and Anthony Ollie, 29, were taken into custody. Detective accused them of breaking into numerous homes and staling TV sets and jewelry.

Ollie will be back in court on June 18.

ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- Media Release from the Winnebago County Sheriff's Department:

During the past several weeks numerous residential burglaries (in excess of twenty) have taken place through-out the County. Entry to homes has been gained by forcing open doors. Items taken have included T.V. sets, and jewelry.

Winnebago County Sheriff’s Detectives along with Rockford Police Detectives andPatrol Officers of both agencies have worked together on this series of burglaries. The investigation has resulted in the arrests of two subjects.

Both were taken into custody on Friday 1-24-13.

Charged with Residential Burglary are:

-1 Robert Burns (DOB 7-30-78)
-2 Anthony F. Ollie (DOB 7-15-84)

Both Burns and Ollie live in Rockford. he investigation is on-going.
The charges against Burns and Ollie are merely accusations. They are presumed nnocent unless proven guilty in court.
