WINNEBAGO COUNTY (WIFR) -- Traffic was backed up for about a mile Friday night when two cars collided just outside Rockford.
It happened at Meridian and Kilburn at about 5:30 p.m. As you could see one of the cars suffered severe damage. The Winnebago County Sheriff's Department tells us they're still looking into what happened. It's possible the south bound driver blew through the stop sign. Two people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
