UPDATE: Suspect Sentenced to 3 Years for Illegal Gun Sale

WINNEBAGO COUNTY (WIFR) -- One of the two men arrested for illegally selling guns is heading to prison.

Desmond Glasoe, 18, was found guilty and sentenced to three years. Winnebago County deputies arrested also arrested Jesse Johannes, 19, in January 2014, after a traffic stop on Kiswaukee Street. That's when deputies found a pistol grip shogun in the car. Johannes will be back in court July 9th.

WINNEBAGO COUNTY (WIFR) -- Two men have been arrested for allegedly being involved in an illegal gun sale. The Winnebago County Sheriff's Department says 18-year-old Desmond Glasoe and 19-year-old Jesse Johannes were arrested just before noon Tuesday during a traffic stop in the 4900 block of Kishwaukee Street.

Deputies were able to recover a shotgun and both men face a number of gun related charges. Deputies say Glasoe is also an alleged gang member of the Satin Disciple gang.
