ROCKFORD (WIFR) -- The Transform Rockford group is looking to keep its momentum going and they spend today gathering support from local professional women as the group continues to plan for change.

It’s a group Transform’s leaders say they can’t achieve their goals without. The Rockford Network of Professional Women hosted a Transform Rockford speaker at their monthly luncheon this afternoon at the Forest Hills Country Club. The group says without talented people like the women in the Network getting involved, it would be much harder to improve the quality of life in the region.

“Within each human being there's a core of brilliance and then when we're called to participate in something really noble and transparent, things that reflect our shared values frankly, I think people step up. They invest in where they live."

Transform Rockford says they’ve been getting a good understanding of what the public feels needs to change and that by April, they’ll shift gears from visioning session to strategy sessions and make concrete plans for change.
