LOVES PARK (WIFR) -- In Rockford, a busy intersection is about to get a whole lot easier to navigate.
Tomorrow engineers will turn on the new traffic signals at Perryville Road and Broadcast Parkway over by Peak Fitness. Tonight the lights will be flashing red, before being fully activated in the morning.
The project cost $800,000 in total, but neighbors who live and work nearby say it’s well worth the cost.
