FREEPORT (WIFR) --Three people are sent to the hospital after a shooting in Freeport overnight.
It happened in the 300 block of Prospect Terrace. Police say three people were shot after a large fist fight. Investigators say one of the suspects involved, 21-year-old LaQuan Phillips stepped away from the altercation and started shooting into the crowd. Phillips was taken into custody. The victims are expected to survive.
